For my family, home education is a whole lifestyle of learning together. Being curious. Exploring. And learning through life.
It is a lifelong journey of learning together . . . so much more than just doing ‘school at home’.
Learning doesn’t just start at 9 in the morning and end at 3.30 in the afternoon.
It isn’t just something that happens out of a text book and has to be written down in some way.
It is all those incidentals: those little questions when you are tucking them up in bed at night; those discoveries along the way when out for a walk; those interactions with other people from all walks of life; it is those ‘aha’ moments when connections are made that you just can’t teach.
It is so much more than just a ‘school day’.
It is life itself.
